Commander-in-Chief
Robert Siebold, 32°
Elected in June of 2019 Bob Siebold became the 4th Commander in Chief of the Valley of the Hudson Consistory. He began his fraternal journey in 1976 as a DeMolay in Brooklyn, New York and is a Past Master Councilor of Teddy Roosevelt Chapter. Bob has an extensive service history in New York DeMolay. In 1982 he was elected the Metropolitan Region Master Councilor and oversaw DeMolay activity in NYC and Long Island. DeMolay International has recognized our CIC with several of its highest honors including the Degree of Chevalier, DeMolay Legion of Honor and Advisors Cross of Honor.
In 2017 he was the Advisor of the Year for New York DeMolay and served as the State Chapter Dad for five 5 years. Bob assisted in chartering Franklin Delano Roosevelt Chapter in Dutchess County and is co-founder of the NYS DeMolay Hall of Fame. He represents the jurisdiction of New York as a Deputy Member of DeMolay International. |
A seventh generation Freemason Bob belongs to Shekomeko Masonic Lodge in Pleasant Valley being a member of the fraternity for over 30 years. His other Masonic memberships include Hudson Valley Forest - Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Poughkeepsie Chapter RAM, King Solomon Council Cryptic Masons, Jay Kosef Council Allied Masonic Degrees, The Royal Order of Scotland and Past Monarch of Tri Po Bed Grotto. Bob serves the Grottoes of North America as a District Deputy and is active within the Empire State Grotto Association. He is the Chairman of the National Grotto Day Membership Program.
Bob has been a member of the Scottish Rite for over 10 years where his enthusiasm for the A.A.S.R. is well known. He has chaired multiple public events and is a Past Sovereign Prince - John Homa Council of Princes of Jerusalem. Bob has held various offices in the Council, Chapter of Rose Croix and is an active member of the Knights of Saint Andrew.

2nd LieutenantWilliam Nugent, 32°
Bill currently resides with his wife (Leslie) and two sons in the Hudson Valley and operates as the owner of Woodstock Harley-Davidson, Kingston ,NY. His masonic career began 8 years ago being raised in Philipstown Lodge #236, where his father (Jim) is a member. Bill is a 4th generation Mason, who’s family traces their Masonic roots to lodge Leven St John #170, Scotland.
Serving as 1st Lieutenant for the Consistory, Bill is also a member of the Knight’s of St. Andrews and is it’s immediate past Chieftain. For the Valley, he also serves as a Scottish Rite Ambassador to two blue lodges. Bill’s other Masonic associations include current Monarch of Tri Po Bed Grotto, Rhinebeck, and memberships in Hudson Valley Forest - Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Poughkeepsie Chapter RAM, King Solomon Council Cryptic Masons, and the Jay KosefCouncil Allied Masonic Degrees. Bill also serves as a member of Grotto’s ‘National Grotto Day 2020’ committee and is the creator and cinematographer of their marketing videos from 2019. |
1st LieutenantMichael Nelson Sr., 32°
Mike resides in Arlington Heights with his wife Virginia (53 years) and his daughter Heather. He is a father of four, grandfather to six, and great-grandfather to four. He is a Vietnam Veteran (U.S. Air Force, 1961-1970), served in the U.S. Army Reserve, and served the people of NYC with the New York City Transit Authority. Mike is well-known by Brethren for his fervency and zeal for the Craft.
While he is comparatively considered a youngster in his Masonry, he has extensive life experience including over 45 years of staff line experience in private and military industries. His Masonic career started in Rhinebeck, New York (Rhinebeck Lodge #432), initiated in September 2016 and raised a Master Mason (by his son W:. Michael Nelson, Jr.) in March 2018. In November 2018, he was made AASR 32⁰ in Albany, NY. In March 2019, Mike was made a Prophet of the Grotto (Tri-Po-Bed Grotto). Mike is a Valley of the Hudson Ambassador, currently the 2nd Lieutenant in Valley of the Hudson Consistory (Wappingers Falls), as well as coordinating degree work for the Valley of the Hudson as “travel agent”, and an active member in the Valley of the Hudson Lodge of Perfection (Middletown, NY). |
